Selout = Selective Outlining. It's when part of the sprite has a darker outline, and part of it doesn't.

Thanks, Baha.

I Appreciate it, Ill fix it now.

Working off Zac's edit;

Not final, still need to finish shading, etc.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Britt - 07-12-2009

Pokeball on hat looks to sooth.
At a little fold to it to make it look like its on a Hat.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Alpha Six - 07-12-2009

I'm redoing the Pokeball completely; I never finished it and the way I sprited it looked odd anyway.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Cshad - 07-13-2009

The shading seems kinda jagged around the chin so far and the face could use more contrast.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Raytheon - 07-13-2009

tbqh the angle the visible side of the face is on means the black side should stretch out a bit more to put it in perspective otherwise his face isn't round its pointy at the front

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Smash - 07-15-2009

The blacks on the hat might need to be more recognizable from each other, one can barely distinguish the two at a quick glance.

Oh and

I need C+C, especially on the shading at the fat area on the body.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Zac - 07-15-2009

i think it looks fine, and with the animation and gameplay I doubt anyone will notice. the on;y problem I see with the sprite is that isis leaning to far forward, ang the head is a little large, making it look pretty off balence.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Britt - 07-15-2009

Heart

Its absolutely perfect.
Insperation enough to go back and make my Typhlosion better.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Alpha Six - 07-16-2009

I agree, it looks great to me. I'll have to give it a closer inspection later.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Cshad - 07-16-2009

Its seems like you're shading the red part of the blue fins as if though they are a separate object, they really shouldn't be highlighted unless the blue are is being highlighted as well, so it looks like a marking rather that something with depth. Milotic also has thick black lines defining the scales, it would look ugly if it were black lines but I would suggest making thicker lines around the scales instead of the line breaks you have now.

You have the antennae proportion correct, they should reach back to the top of the horn in a heart shape, but the head is too large, making it look like the horn should be bigger and the antennae longer, I would suggest shrinking down the head size so these look in proportion. I think the body's tail portion could also be a bit longer but that's just me.

Good job.

Amazing job so far. But im not a fan of the shading on Milotic's belly.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Britt - 07-16-2009

>_>

Milotic isn't mine.
The one who made the sprite is about two posts above mine.
