RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Mr Ki - 02-18-2015

So has the Overworld models for NPCs been ripped yet, or at least their textures?

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - TheGamedawg - 02-22-2015

It's been a little while but after given permission here I finally got around to starting uploading these models to the SketchUp warehouse. I made sure to give credit to the original rippers as well as links to the MR site like I said I would. I'll probably get around to uploading more later, but this is probably a good start.

And as always, I can't wait to see more models in general! I've been loving seeing the development of this project to upload every Pokemon ORAS has to offer to the MR site! I wish I could help myself, but this is the best I can do.

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Smoko Frodo - 02-23-2015

Are you still taking requests? Because I'd like to request Spritzee and Aromatisse.

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Mr Ki - 02-26-2015

Alright, so I found and downloaded the XY and ORAS character models, but how do I open the .bin and .mm files which are the overworld models, and how would I import the textures onto the model?

Yes, requests are still being taken, but progress is kinda slow due to sickness and other projects. Anyway, here's another bunch of not-quite-two-dozen-but-close-enough.

Redirecting one of my requests, can you rip the male Ace Trainer, if you're doing overworld models? And what program do I open up the BCH MM and bin files with?

Aaaah yes! I'm going to enjoy using Charizard... once I can figure out how the fire texture works...

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Shiftite - 02-26-2015

Yes! I can use the whole Fennekin line now! Also, I've tried out your script on zorua and the rigging came out perfect, but when I applied the textures the eyes did this. I'd appreciate any tips on how to make them appear somewhat normal.

Edit: Never mind. I figured it out.

Edit: I noticed in an earlier post that you said something about smoothing errors. What qualifies as a smoothing error?

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Layell - 02-27-2015

Hey here is a small request I'd like to submit, the substitute model. I run the graphics for most of Pokemon Showdown and while we have the pokedex model rips for every mon we lack a model substitute. Graphical uniformity might be nice and all.

After that well, every Pokemon would be cool, one can dream right? : D

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Alses - 02-27-2015

This is insanity, how has no one requested Milotic, Ho-Oh or the Dragonite family yet? So 3 requests at a time: Milotic, Ho-Oh, Dragonair. =)

Good... more pokemon downloaded on my computer, and all of them working nicely on Cinema 4D... I love them so much... Even Kyurem was one of my priorities, due becuz I going to use it for a little personal RPG history, that involves it in a dark legend that Kyurem itself resembles as "The oblivion pokemon"

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Citipati - 02-27-2015

Can I request Scyther and Garchomp?

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Atlanta - 02-28-2015

-peeks in- I'd like to request victini~?

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS Model Ripping Project - Shiftite - 02-28-2015

If I were to submit a model for this project, what all files would need to be in the submission?

If you were to follow what files RTB includes exactly you'd need to make a zip named something like "3DS - Pokemon X Y - (Name of the model)" with a Pokemon XY folder in it which has the folder with the name of the model in it. Inside of the model's actual folder you'd have a .txt file named tag which specifies details like so:

Game: Pokémon X/Y

Subject: Model Name
Copyright: Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc.
Model Ripper:
Hosting Permissions: The Models Resource
Notes:

And for the materials you'd include two folders inside of the model's folder, one called images and the second being images_shiny which have all of the textures, normal maps, spec maps etc.
Finally for the actual models it'd have to be the mega, male and female models (if there are any differences) with the working original boneset in FBX, DAE and SMD format.

So pretty much just put the models in a model editing program and export them as those formats.
