Yep. Fixed up the script so that their models import properly now. Rigging groups still mess up, but I can tweak that manually for each model if I need to (though Shauna's model imported without any issues, surprisingly).

still waiting for dem trainer and NPC models in BCH to be available c:

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Carpaccio - 10-15-2014

Oh oh...uhm...are we allowed to request any trainers? If only one, I'd really LOVE to have Xerosic. He's the only male Team Flare Head Scientist. I dunno why, but he always seemed pretty interesting to me.

Does your script work with the ORAS demo models? I can't get any to convert with the python or go scripts, and I don't have 3DSMax to test your script witH.

Here's the GARC containing the models:

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Mystie - 10-15-2014

Sorry for mentioning this again, but...

I tried uploading Suicune, and it got rejected because it didn't have normal/bump maps, or other special maps. Well, there were none of these maps in the texture folder, so could one of you please extract the normals and other special maps for all of the Pokemon? Thanks in advance.

How do you unpack the GARC?

edit:

Nevermind, just had to search it up. But how do you unpack it though?

I hope Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U uses the same files just like Super Smash Bros. Brawl does. Like .pac, .pcs, .brres, & .rels

This is an age-old post from 10 pages ago, but I can tell you that it will definitely not use those formats.

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Kawasuzu - 10-15-2014

It was already confirmed a few pages back that Smash Bros 3DS uses a completely different BCH format for models.

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Pik - 10-15-2014

Yeah, but he was holding out on the Wii U version as well.

With Kaphotic's GARCTool:

There's a precompiled version in the releases section:

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Demonslayerx8 - 10-15-2014

thanks! altho it gives me alot of .PC/PT/PF/PB files... even tho they all have BCH in them

edit:
well they wont import into 3ds max.. says its string is different..

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Kawasuzu - 10-15-2014

Huh, that's weird. Whenever the importer script encounters an error, the button won't work again. I know you can just restart the script, but it's still very interesting.

Header information's different, how the vertex information is stored is also slightly different. I'm gonna need to work on tweaking my script a lot more before any models can be ripped from that. It's either that, or I'll work on getting the OR/AS-only models myself since a lot of manual input is needed to get them to even load up in the first place...

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Demonslayerx8 - 10-16-2014

dang really? :c

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Random Talking Bush - 10-16-2014

I'll have to do so through lots of rewrites (the polygon data's no longer stored next to each vertex chunk, it's all in one bunch at the end!), but I should be able to get the following 5 models from the demo in due time. It might take a few days, though.

- Mega Steelix
- Mega Sceptile
- Mega Swampert
- Mega Glalie
- Mega Metagross

Also, is it possible to send me the files that have the Trainer models, so I can get those ripped too?
