RE: Ducktales Remastered - Dazz - 11-21-2013

I honestly prefer sheets, but you know, no problem with either. There's no real size limit until it's, obviously, going to break whenever somebody opens it.

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Carpaccio - 11-21-2013

Sheets it is then. I should have some assembled properly come tomorrow night. I'll put them up here as soon as I can.

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Random Talking Bush - 01-24-2014

Just posting now to mention that I figured out that most of the ANB files I mentioned earlier can be extracted using wfLZEx.exe -- you just need to use both -dxt5 and -col-only simultaneously to extract 'em. (The only ones that don't are the gallery things, hud.anb, hud_overlay.anb, title.anb, mine_cart.anb and mirror.anb, and a couple of other things.)

That being said, I was now able to see that WayForward had plans to have Shantae playable in DuckTales Remastered. Either that or it was placeholder stuff that was never meant to be in the full game.

And I'll be working on getting the sprites up on The Spriters Resource sometime in February. For sure this time.

(EDIT: Hrm. Still doesn't work with the Terra Firmian King, his sprites are stored in an unusual manner -- DXT1 color, DXT5 multiply with the alpha channel as the sprite's transparency. Guess I'll have to rip that the old-fashioned way.)

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Toonwriter - 01-25-2014

I'd like to have sprite sheets, music and voices, all ripped from Ducktales Remastered.

RE: Ducktales Remastered - mr.walter - 02-06-2014

oh boy the great part is it's going too be my birthday in a couple of weeks can't wait for those sprites

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Carpaccio - 02-07-2014

DEAR LORD. I forgot about this topic apparently, and I had figured out the same thing Random Talking Bush had after messing around enough. Anyway, so, so very sorry about breaking my promise and not getting these up sooner. I will personally take the time today to get at least three sheets up, and to start...

Hope this shows a little potential. I organized them into animation lines. The larger spaces between certain sprites indicate they are 'chained' to the previous animation and are usually randomly interspersed in the animation, in the sequence they are placed. Some are also transitions.

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Mystie - 02-07-2014

Great work! Can't wait to see more!

I've still yet to play Remastered though...

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Random Talking Bush - 02-07-2014

Looks good, but I see you're missing both the handshake animation, and the one where he's holding up the boulder in Mount Vesuvius.

Here they are in case you need them.

RE: Ducktales Remastered - mr.walter - 02-12-2014

So any more sprites coming?

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Random Talking Bush - 02-12-2014

Yes. Be patient, though. Sprite ripping is only a hobby, after all, and not something that people are working on 24/7.

RE: Ducktales Remastered - Carpaccio - 02-12-2014

Oh, you're right. I missed those two sets entirely. I had them in a different folder for some reason...

Here's the updated sheet.

FLINTHEART GLOMGOLD

Dracula Duck will be next, but he's taking longer than I thought. He has a stupidly long intro and death sequence. After that will be Magica.
