Yeah, Olimar was one of my mains back when I still played Brawl, when I wasn't playing Dedede, Diddy or trying and failing to play Wario properly.

Olimar really isn't a bad fighter once you learn how to use him properly. Once you do, you can really lay out some beatdowns.

I mean, he's top tier, under only Meta Knight and the Ice Climbers. And according to ZeRo, Olimar made even better, that his recovery was really buffed and that his air game was as well

Olimar has always been too technical for me as a gaming simpleton. Personally, I play characters more for how much of a fan I am of that particular character, which is why I'm happy Bowser's apparently been buffed a bunch by being a bit on the faster side. Same with Donkey Kong.

So I've just figured out why Dedede no longer throws Waddle Dees, and only throws Gordos.
Bandana Dee is going to be a playable character. Nothing to do with the fact Waddle Dees are now a Smash Run enemy, and nothing to do with the totally legit my uncle is a nintendo "leak" that came out a day or two ago. It's because we're getting a spear wielding Waddle Dee, who I bet won't be revealed until after Smash is out. (I mean, some newcomers weren't revealed until Brawl was out in Japan, and I want to keep this hope train a-goin'."

Yeah, we made that same observation when that change in Dedede was first announced.
Although the fact that they appear as Smash Run enemies does have me a little less convinced than I was at the time.

do gordos appear in smash run? i'm guessing he can't throw waddle dees to avoid confusion with the actual waddle dee enemies when playing smash run. that doesn't really throw any wrenches in the bandana dee theorizing, though.

Is there any other evidence of Bandana Dee appearing? I'm assuming that Meta Knight is going to get the cut personally, so I suppose they'd add him in to fill the gap (it'd be strange to have three Kirby reps in the last game and only two in this one).

There's very little chance that both Metaknight is getting cut and Bandana Waddle dee is getting in. It's going to be either one or the other or none of the above.
To do both is the equivalent of cutting Luigi and putting in Toad. Which is just silly.
It's more likely that Metaknight just gets a complete overhaul in his moveset.

Yeah, I'm thinking Metaknight and Wario haven't been shown yet because they're going to be pretty different compared to last time.
