You. Can. Set. Custom. Options. Between. Friends.

For Fun and For Glory is the two modes when you play with strangers, with friends he said that the options, game types and everything were customizable.

So... Stop flooding this thread with posts about competitive play and items. Everyone. Right now.

I'm in a sour fucking mood this week and I'm going to take it all out on you if I keep getting pushed, so not one more fucking post about this asinine bullshit, okay?

One thing I found recently was that the recent image of ZSS where she appeared to have afterimages behind her wasn't part of the Wii Fit stage, but instead seemed to be part of her special effects. There was a screen shot from press release photos (but I saw it on a youtube montage so I don't have a link) where she was falling to the ground and had blue afterimages following her.

What I like about it is that it reminds me of the Shinespark moves she had in Super Metroid, where she'd run really fast and do dashes and such. It looks really cool here, I just wish I had a link for the image.

Yes, I'll probably get the game.

Because I've been a fan of smash for a looong time. Simple =)

So, I got a 2DS. Where do I subscribe to get the smash bros feed?

If you meant relevant info about the game as it comes out, Sakurai posts pictures every weekday. I like this particular compilation website because it actually includes the Miiverse quotes that go along with the picture, while they are strangely absent from the main website:

http://smashbros-miiverse.com/

It also has those afterimage pictures of ZSS I mentioned on her page, but it won't let me directly link them.

This smash run thing sounds fun.

I just had an interesting idea when I just read you thinking Smash Run sounded fun, but it's probably not going to happen.

Custom Single Player modes, particularly Custom Arcade and Custom Event matches. The idea behind it is giving players the ability to create the lineups and themes of Arcade mode or a single Event Match. Event matches would definitely be easier, it would just be a single match type with features edited by its creator. A fully customized Arcade mode is the idea I had that I really really wish could become a reality someday. Basically, the rundown of the Arcade mode stages would have a certain number of available difficulty attributed to them, with the first stage having the least and the later stages having the most. This could limit a creator to, say, one character with limited or no themed powers in the first stages, but near the end they could make, say, a Giant Metal Kirby or so on. Creators of stages would have a limited number of points or the like to distribute between stages, so they couldn't overload every stage with impossible enemies, and yet at the same time maybe there would also be a minimum requirement for certain stages so the game doesn't become too easy or boring.

The only reason I got an idea like that into my head is the existence of Custom Move Sets. Maybe, if something like this isn't implemented this installment, an installment in the far future might consider adding a mode like this to spice things up.

That being said, I wonder whether Smash Run will have any customizable elements to it? Maybe after everything is unlocked for it, players might be able to edit which Events happen in stage, or what enemies appear in what frequency. It could really have some depth to it.

Oh right, I just realized.

I was right about the Phantom being one of Zelda's attacks and NOT an assist. Fuck everyone who said my reasoning was unsound.

But does Bandana Dee shoot lasers and or could fight on a bouncy ball? I don't think so

There's no reason not to include a Waddle Doo laser ability in Bandee's move pool, I'd say.

I feel like Bandee or Prince Fluff have the best chances of appearing as newcomers out of the Kirby characters. The other newcomers have all been relevant to the Wii and early 3DS games, even Mega Man with his classic appearance.

Mega Man - Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10
Wii Fit Train - Wii Fit
Villager - Animal Crossing: City Folk
Rosalina - Super Mario Galaxy
Little Mac - Punch-Out!! Wiimake
Greninja - Pokemon X and Y

Looking at previous Smash games, the pattern holds. The majority of newcomers represent the prior generation and whichever current generation games were released prior to the completion of Smash Bros. Usually there's a pair of oddities in each game, being the classic revival character and the oddball character.

So I think Prince Fluff and Bandee have the best chances of any Kirby character. And honestly, I love them, but I doubt either one is getting in.

Well, but he still would have to fight on a bouncy ball. But I guess you can give Bandana Dee and bouncy ball, too. You could give him a jesters hat too, that would be cool. Purple would be a cool colour, and arms are so last year. Maybe change his face to be more expressive, larger eyes would be a must. You could spell Bandana Dee a little different, because I don't think he's officially named Bandana Des. Possibly something German to make it sound military-y. Marx, would be a good step in the direction.

That would be a Bandana Dee Marx I could get behind
