The Ukyo Stage with palette issues:
http://i.minus.com/iHvUzwHABSMq8.png
vSNES screen has 49 colours, but the whole sheet (including bg colour) has 83. What a piece of shit. Kyoshiro Stage has no problems with palettes, but Nakoruru has and therefore uses the vSNES palette, same goes for Tamtam. Then the Galford Stage has a high amount of colours, but this comes from the palette-swapping ocean in the bg (an animation which moves independently from the other animations). Wan-Fu... no idea, I ripped him completely with vSNES.

So yeah, Samurai Shodown is complete with the exception of the Ukyo Stage.

Edit: WIP stuff from various fighting games:

The remaining two stages, excluding the final boss. Even on the easiest game level, the first opponent kicks my ass multiple times. It's nothing like the other fighting games.

Hey Dazz, how about you try this one too? Hahaha, man I feel mean to ask you for playing impossible games.

You are actually beating all these games in order to get to the stages you want to rip? That sounds incredibly tedious. Why don't you just use cheats ?

what does the system vision do? does it make the world look like windows 98?
I don't meen the stages but I'm just wondering what sort of machine a system vision is

I'm mostly using Stage Select in the VS mode, but in this case the final stage was missing. I've also found no codes for invincibility.

Anyway, there was a character code for Zeno which also unlocked his stage:

When I'm playing through fighting games, I'm mostly checking which character belongs to which stage.

After the completion of Battle Master, another game is finished.

RE: Stages from SNES fighting games (Tool: vSNES) - Magma MK-II - 07-26-2012

How many you still plan to do?

RE: Stages from SNES fighting games (Tool: vSNES) - Davy Jones - 07-26-2012

Let's see:

- Shaq Fu
- Seifuku Densetsu - Pretty Fighter
- Super V.G. (Super Virtual Geo)
- Street Combat
- Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S

That should be all, I'm not starting another game. Although, I could finish Battle Blaze too, if someone gives me quicksaves.

Street Combat:

http://i.minus.com/ibxzCtv8MEOWA8.png

Super-fast animation, even 30-fold slower speed in zsnes wasn't good enough since zsnes began to lag. Therefore I made screenshots with animget, just to see how many frames the animation has. Then I randomly made quicksaves until I had 6 of 8 frames. 4-fold slower speed, then escape at the right moment aaaaand... quicksave!

Ah yeah, Street Combat is now complete.

Kidou Butouden G-Gundam:

http://i.minus.com/itJUd5k4FXKj.png

Game complete, it was the last sheet and halfway done, so I decided to finish it. Dragon seems to be the only character with two stage forms, his "third" is just the night again, but this time with a scrolling fog overlay.

The characters seem to be from another story arc than Gundam Wing - Endless Duel and I think even Gaia's current rips are from a different time period.

Super V.G. (Super Virtual Geo):

Game complete.

Wow that list is helpful.
