To my surprise and in contrast to the YT video I've seen, he encountered me on the Lava Bridge. So... how did you access this stage?

Maybe helpful for Ant, if he decides to give Killer Instinct another shot. This quicksave has a dizzy Eyedol, hit one button and you see his death sequence (he has extra sprites for the lava bath): http://minus.com/luVgnQqhagpb5

The endings for each character can be achieved per cheat.

By using Action Replay Codes, found here: Link

RE: Stages from SNES fighting games (Tool: vSNES) - Davy Jones - 07-11-2012

Are the Action Replay codes the only possibility to get to these stages? If yes, I would name it "Eyedol Stage (Unused)".

"07 - Castle Gate with Bridge" would be "Spinal Stage (Unused)". As far as I can see, you can throw your opponent off the roof in Spinal's regular stage and see this one for a brief moment.

If I can pry myself away from Dragon's dogma, and when I'm not spriting my TFR character, I'll see if I can get the KI sprites that are missing... Unless someone beats me to it Tongue

By the way, awesome project Davy. The things vSNES is capable of... Big Grin

My sister is also playing this game, take your time =)

Trivia so far:
- Art of Fighting uses Mode 7 for his stages
- Soul Blade isn't working with zsnes
- Death Brade's stages are unrippable, even vSNES doesn't help
- Pit Fighter (I played through) is a horrible game, even worse than Rise of Robots, Hokuto no Ken and Super Bikkuriman.

Great stuff! I love it all, especially the unused KI stages! Canas, have you thought about trying MK2 or maybe Ultimate MK3?

And they're all up! Great job folks!

More trivia:
- SD means Super Deformed
- Possibilities in the title are "Hiryu" or "Hiryuu", but the second one has more google hits (45.000 to 49.000)
- The western 64 game of the SD Hiryuu no Ken series is called Flying Dragon
- Fighter's History has a Japan only version, called Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!! (Mizoguchi's Moment of Crisis!!), which is currently on the site.

@Canasniimehugh (almost as crazy as Zadabadadingsbums):
That's Nue from Touhou cosplaying other characters Cool
