Isn't there like... not THAT many animated series of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure? At least last I checked (which was forever ago) there was only the story of how Jotaro goes to fight Dio, and even then the two halves of that series were made like a decade apart and are pretty short.

Unless you're talking about the manga, Kosh. Then you're probably super fucked.

RE: Anime Thread - Mutsukki - 06-25-2014

Jojo's so fast to read you don't even notice.

But the anime that covers part 1 and 2 is like 26 episodes long and the current one will be 48 (and it's for Part 3), so idk, it's not -that- big anime-wise

Just watch the current season of the show. If it's for you, it will be.

RE: Anime Thread - Eno - 06-26-2014

Not anime, but I have been reading One Piece online over the past few months. I'm near the end of the Water 7 arc. I'm liking Franky a lot more than I expected to, although I think Robin is my favourite even though she's been separated from the rest of the crew at this point.

The only problem is that I'm already aware of a few "spoilers" so I'm not quite as surprised by the direction of the story. Some of these things are obvious and pretty difficult to avoid knowing (Robin rejoining the crew, Franky also joining) while others are less so (who turns out to be part of CP9). There's still a lot of stuff I didn't know about exactly though, so it's not like there aren't any surprises.

Overall, I'm quite enjoying it, even if I feel some of the climaxes of the arcs drag out a bit too long.

oh youre gonna hate the later arcs. they drag on for so long that i get bored and give up on the series until the next arc starts

its been like 8 months since i last read, IM STILL WAITING FOR THIS ARC TO FINISH with no end in sight

RE: Anime Thread - Eno - 06-26-2014

I'll admit Skypiea was starting to lose me at the end. When they introduced the warship I was really starting to get impatient, especially because I thought the Luffy/Enel confrontation was the end of it... then things drag on even further with the gold ball stuck to his arm and shit.

Baroque Works was kinda like that too, but I was much more invested in that story than what was happening in Skypiea. Not that Skypiea was bad, but Enel's henchmen were a lot less interesting than most of Baroque Works were.

Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Moving onto season 3, quite enjoyable but I prefer the manga for now.
