RE: chinese cartoons - Mutsukki - 09-14-2012

Apparently, some confirmed this is the first ending to the Jojo anime coming this October :

I guess this is where Warner Bros. makes sense. This is so perfect for Jojo as a series, it's full of real life music references, and them being able to get licenses like this is a huge freaking deal. I'm putting faith in this anime. (Despite being full of references, I don't think the series ever referenced YES in any way)

Opening song is apparently original song made for the anime composed by Kohei Tanaka and sang by Hiroaki Tominaga (no clue)

Okay, I don't see any need to worry about the studio anymore, this looks fantastic

RE: chinese cartoons - Kitsu - 09-21-2012

So this week I've been watching Sousei no Aquarion, a mecha show from 2005.

It's okay. *shrug*

RE: chinese cartoons - Baegal - 09-21-2012

Has anyone heard anything about "Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de"? It's a manga about the Sega vs Nintendo console war that's getting an anime adaptation Oct. 20

I don't know much about it, and I'd like to hear your opinions.
It sounds pretty interesting, considering all of the character references, which is neat.

RE: chinese cartoons - Helmo - 09-22-2012

well the girl with the pink hair is obviously kirby

and one guy is from dragon warrior

idk about the rest

RE: chinese cartoons - soulcaliburfan - 09-22-2012

I was assuming that the nearly naked, blue haired guy is Sonic. You know, spiky blue hair, no clothes, etc.? Beyond that, I have no idea.

RE: chinese cartoons - Baegal - 09-22-2012

According to this website, the characters are as follows:
Quote:WHO’S WHO?
Gia – Sonic (Sonic The Hedgehog)
Opul – Opa-Opa (Fantasy Zone)
Neru – Nei (Phantasy Star)
Tejilof – Tetris (apparently a third-party mercenary hired by Segua)
Ramses – Columns
Marcse – Mario
Greege – Luigi
Zerig – The Legend Of Zelda
Carval – Kirby
Fare – Fire Emblem
Masa – Mother
Saroid – Samus (Metroid)
Pirika – Pikachu (Pokémon
Fosta – Fox (Star Fox)
It's not really a secret, considering the manga's been out for quite a while (yet I can't seem to find any translations anywhere)
Some characters, like the Kirby and Mother one, represent a game as a whole rather than a specific character
