Blue Seed is good; mythology kinda I guess. Black Butler is alight; I don't get it.

MMMmmm....Samurai 7 is amazing though, still haven't been able to watch anything due to my ADHD (jk).

RE: chinese cartoons - Cobalt Blue - 02-11-2012

Never been a huge fan of robot shows myself. Exceptions being Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still and Gurren Lagann, both of which I highly recommend.

You should try and watch both Big-O and the Original Gundam Wing

if you like gurren laggan then I'd definitely give those two series a shot. However I won't judge you if you don't want to.

Just watched Origins: Spirit of the Forest. Short movie but it was cute. Living together with nature and all that junk, yeah.

RE: chinese cartoons - Helmo - 02-11-2012

This. It's amazing. Also the soundtrack is amazing too, it was done by an actual orchestra.

RE: chinese cartoons - DioShiba - 02-11-2012

I think I'm going to start watching Fighting Spirit

IT HAS BOXING SO I'M GUESSING IT HAS TO BE PRETTY DAMN GOOD.

Big-o feels like the japanese version of "Batman-animated series". i love it.

RE: chinese cartoons - TomGuycott - 02-11-2012

Actually a lot of the animators or mech designers (I can't remember which, maybe it was both) that worked on Giant Robo went on to do Big O afterwards.
