Phamtom Hourglass and spirit tracks?

Uhhhh, did you say a fighting game that only had Fighting-Type Pokémon? What would be the fun in that? Not everyone likes Fighting Pokémon...

Unless you're referring to something else, seeing how Tellis mentioned Heracross.

with fighthing as ONE of his types.

RE: Non Existing Video Games You Would Love To Have - Garamonde - 02-25-2012

I forgot that Heracross was part Fighting. Still, I much prefer variety.

It'd be more awesome if you could play as any of the 649 Pokémon, but of course everyone would think that'd be overkill, heh.

RE: Non Existing Video Games You Would Love To Have - Kriven - 02-25-2012

With all of the fighting types, you have 41 characters of variety, with a number of different subtypes. I don't really see the problem :p

You'd probably play as all the most iconic Pokemon.

I'd want to jab people as Escavalier. Tongue

Wow, cool.

But isn't all that stuff highly copyrighted? Even though it's free, can't you get sued or something? I asked about making a game using Professor Layton sprites and people said I shouldn't.

RE: Non Existing Video Games You Would Love To Have - Deathbringer - 02-26-2012

Probably a cease-&-desist order, not a lawsuit.

RE: Non Existing Video Games You Would Love To Have - puggsoy - 02-27-2012

For an enthusiastic developer, it's pretty much the same thing Tongue

An Armored Core: Nexus-style game for the PS3 and Xbox 360 that basically had all of the PSX and PS2 games using the same engine, allowing you to swap parts from any of the universes.

An HD remix of the original Metal Slug.

Metal Slug Evolution in sprite form. Or maybe Metal Slug First Mission or Second Mission with redone graphics.

Not really a game, but CAVE, Raizing, Takumi, and Gazelle should re-unite and brand themselves Toaplan again. AND THE FANDOM REJOICED

Metal Slug Super Vehicle 002. It would have happened if it weren't for SNK's meddling.

R-Gear. This also would've happened too, although at least RayStorm isn't a half-bad alternative.

Some kind of Raiden Fighters game playing kind of like Ace Combat Advance (i.e. more realistic combat and such). Or perhaps Raiden as an After Burner-style game.

A Battle Bakraid sequel that's basically a flight simulator where you do all kinds of awesome shit with fictional Randan aircraft from various eras in aircraft history, from the cloth-and-strings biplanes to futuristic sixth-gen lifting bodies, like dogfighting with various kinds of twists (Think of "Juggernaut" except with aircraft and said Juggernaut has a plane a generation ahead of the others, or "Assault" with actual bomber aircraft), and an emphasis on multiplayer. Technically, the fighting would not be for sake of combat, but just to prove the limits of aerial technology as a sort of theme of the entire game.

Cannon Spike 2, with controls similar to Zero Gunner 2 (i.e. Turn Markers instead of just regular lock-ons)

Strikers 2020. If Psikyo were still around, it'd be perfect in this day and age, since 2020 is relatively far into the future, yet still pretty well-known in terms of military aircraft development.

Noise Factory does an Undercover Cops sequel. 112-HIT COMBO WITH A METAL BEAM

Some sort of sandbox Metal Slug game where you took all of the elements from the Arcade games and could do pretty much whatever with them Gmod-style. ALL OF MY MONEY. ALL OF MY FUCKING MONEY.

Some Psikyo game where pretty much every shmup they did on the SH2 is combined into some kind of ungodly all-stars product. Have you ever wanted to fight F.G.R. using the Space Bomber? How about using Marion to fight Goblins? And we don't even need to mention the potential hilarity of some of the endings...

That's all I can think of for now. Most of these have appeared in my dreams in one way or another, and then a couple are just logical next steps.
