...what?

You mean Stardust right?

Yeah, a couple of the screenshots of that Stardust video reminded me of Tails' city level in SA.

one could asume this is going to be the lineup of the game.

also lving how 2006's footage is purely based on the game's trailer.

stuff from chemical plant and the battle with metal sonic(wich is apparently going to take place there)
and also, i ahve a belief chaos might will exist in this game.

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Baegal - 07-20-2011

I don't mind that (supposed) lineup, but I wish marble zone and metropolis zone were replaced by Labyrinth zone and Oil Ocean/Mystic Cave zone.
Those would've been cooler.
On the other hand, I'm extremely excited that (according to the trailer) Hydrocity, Carnival Night, and Lava Reef were there!

This word has betrayed me too many times. I like the trailer, and I'm still looking forward to this game just DAT WORD BETRAYS HOPEFULNESS!

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Cobalt Blue - 07-20-2011

our deductive powers tell us
-green hill, chemical plant, city escape are present in the video.
-in one of the screenshots, part of an stage's structure can be visible nexy yo chemical plant as an old fashioned architecture, much similar to what one would find in a level like hydrocity.
-in another, you can spot the the boss from launch base.
-both classic and modern(?) tails
-metal sonic's fight will take place in stardust speedway.

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Rökkan - 07-21-2011

Um? Do you guys have amnesia or something? We already know all the levels that are going to be present in the game

All of the levels in the game are present in the Sonic Anniversary video - Green Hill, Chemical Plant, Casino Night, Sky Sanctuary, Speed Highway, City Escape, Seaside Hill/Ocean Palace, Crisis City, Planet Wisp, Rooftop Run. That doesn't mean that the other levels that appear in the video (all of Sonic CD, all of Secret Rings, Metropolis, etc) will appear in Generations.

Perfect Chaos is present in the game as a boss. The bosses are Metal Sonic, the Giant Egg Mech, Perfect Chaos, Shadow, Silver and the Egg Dragoon.

That old-fashioned structure probably is from Sky Sanctuary.

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Baegal - 07-21-2011

So....no hydrocity? :C

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Kriven - 07-22-2011

Perfect Chaos is just "a boss?"

"He's only already destroyed the world. Don't worry guys, I'll be back in a sec."

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Baegal - 07-22-2011

Does the 3Ds version have a different lineup than the ps3/X360 games? If so, is it possible the other levels in the video will be in the 3Ds version?

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Kriven - 07-22-2011

Supposedly the 3DS version will feature stages from the portable Sonic games, like Sonic Advance. It would be cool if they had a different story to accomodate.

yes it is a shitty list i know

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - NICKtendo DS - 07-22-2011

Hey, I was hoping for Ice Cap Zone, but I am content with the list of stages we have now.
Still, nothing has to be final.

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - Cobalt Blue - 07-22-2011

why ice cap when you have city escape?

Awesome Chaos is in the game? What about Tikal?

Also please remix the Sonic 2 boss theme. Please.

RE: Rev Up Those Sonic Cycles - NICKtendo DS - 07-22-2011

I don't see any ice-themed levels in the list. We do have lots of streets and cities, though varied enough for me to accept.
Perhaps it's the music, but for some reason Ice Cap Zone is my favorite stage in Sonic 3.
Nothing that DLC can't fix, though. As long as SEGA is willing to listen to the fans, though experience has taught us not to rely on that too much (not saying that they don't).
