RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Dazz - 02-09-2012

I think I've always had this mindset that we can't really compete with Sprites Inc. on Megaman content, since ultimately they are really amazing at what they do.

I know that isn't any real excuse, but I still prefer personally ripping from games that receive less dedicated attention.
Although saying that, I'd love to have a complete Mega Man sprite resource on tSR.

RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Magma MK-II - 02-09-2012

I know that, but even Sprites-Inc. don't have everything. I like to rip things that either haven't been ripped yet or have incomplete rips (the case with High Max). So you won't see me uploading, say, a new Zero sheet, since that have a full sheet on Sprites-Inc. already.

Makes me wonder why there aren't any sheets from X5 and X6 on TSR yet...

o~O

So someone has started already... Are you getting this Mega Man stuff from their disc's data?

If you start ripping from X5, please leave Axle the Red and Izzy Glow for me... ;~;

He might be ripping from the VRAM itself, trying with the disc itself can be, for lack of a better term, down right annoying.

That reminds me, I really should continue with that Mega Man X rip from X4-X6 sometime. Maybe next month I will.

^ This.

Besides, for now I'm only ripping what's incomplete/missing on Sprites-inc. And as far as X5 goes, I only remember Maverick Zero is missing.

The Icons sheet works for any PSX Megaman X game that isn't X3.

Next on TSR: some stuff from X4 and X5! (It's very easy to rip with VRAM!)

Hey Mighty, you can rip Izzy Glow and Axle the Red if you want!

RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Davy Jones - 02-13-2012

Is that Sting Chameleon?

RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Garamonde - 02-13-2012

Yes, Metal Shark Player can create holograms of Sting Chameleon, Magna Centipede and Blast Hornet. I was really surprised too!

And, it really is easy to rip stuff with VRAM? I will definitely try this out soon. However the ISO is laggy/glitchy so it's difficult to play even with the latest version of ePSXe...

Wow, these sheets form Megaman are awesome! Congratz

It plays fine on my computer, which is kinda old. If anything, try downloading the iso from Snesorama's board.

Guess I'll drop the X4 part...

RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Garamonde - 02-14-2012

I'll get one from there then, thanks.

Also, I almost misread that as "Paranoid", heh.

EDIT: Okay SNESorama doesn't like me or something because it won't load at all. It keeps saying "the connection has timed out" no matter which of the links I click on Google. Blank
