RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Carpaccio - 03-10-2012

Honestly I prefer the Metal Slug stuff.

Nothing against Mega Man though. It's just a little overdone to me at this point.

RE: Magma Dragoon's submissions - Garamonde - 03-10-2012

There actually isn't a whole lot of Mega Man stuff on TSR compared to other franchises like Pokémon and Mario... those are the ones that feel more overdone. They and other popular series have been shining bright for years, while MM has been left more in the dark. Mega Man has a good amount of neglect just because of Sprites INC., and if I'm gonna be honest, that isn't right (not to mention that even Sprites INC.'s archives are incomplete!).

This is why last month, February, was one of the happiest months I've had on TSR. I was so joyful. Because I'm seeing that some of my favorite games of all time -- that have a very special place in my heart -- are getting the love that they deserve. Now I'm not saying that there aren't games that could do with more attention, because there are, but you know that after this Mega Man phase ends that it'll just get left behind again -- a legendary franchise that has impacted the world. It's true there are games like Metal Slug that probably could use more attention, but mostly because of the fact that it's hard to rip from -- all these Mega Man games such as on the GB and PSX and whatnot are easier to do, so there isn't as much of an excuse for them not being ripped and I overflow with joy when I see them because it's such a treat.

...Anyway yeah, this is not intended as a rant against Carpaccio in anyway, this is just the Mega Man nerd in me stating my thoughts. Sorry about that.

I am inspired!!

He screwed up the coding Ton, I fixed it in the quote. He put the end (/url) in the wrong place.
