Cause the Spriting Dictionary says that, but if it doesn't screw your sprite, then it's not Tongue

Okay, so I am the dumb one here, and you're the smart one.

I mean after all, I totally didn't know how it was defined and never used sarcasm, and this insult you gave me was warranted.

And the italics I am using is not sarcasm at all, no sir not at all, but of course you know that seeing that you removed them knowing that I was being completely serious.
Wink

Seriously though, with all douche-bagging aside, don't assume that everyone here is a newbie at spriting or art in general. Even if you were joking I think comments like that are only going to start up a storm if someone else takes it the wrong way. Sorry if I am acting like a mod here but lets get real for once even if someone (like me) isn't great, it doesn't mean they won't know definitions like dithering or anti-aliasing.

I don't know what to say Ouch! I'm sorry, I didn't wanted to insult you, I just thought you did know it. I didn't removed the italics because of that, I was going to leave them there, but the Quotes didn't let me, so I removed them.
Please Forgive me =(

Cut out the douche-bagging, Lowly S. Worm. isael-21 didn't mean to offend you and he apologized.
And the uploaded picture is a .jpg, even if you saved your work as a .png. The conversion could have occurred after;

I'll forgive you, And apologize for the sarcasm before hand.

and chris, the only reason why the url of the image is saying jpg on the end of it was because it was uploaded using tiny pic, however, if you actually veiw the source of the image on a separate page (right-click, view image on a separate tag), it should say it's a png image with the size of the entire image. It doesn't really affect the quality in any way.

RE: Now working on something "American" - isael-21 - 06-26-2011

Thank you.
You can use imgur, the simple image sharer =)
Tinypic removes all pictures after a while :/
However, not going to start something again, I promise Wink

RE: Now working on something "American" - DioShiba - 06-27-2011

ended up doing a little side project (even though I probably shouldn't have but idrc)

BACK TO THE MAIN THING NOW:
tweaked the ear, fixed the pelvis, changed the color of the pants.

that ear is way too close to his eye. way too close.

those boots are ludicrously bulky and the bottom outline of his left boot messes up the perspective as well. make the outline more horizontal-ish if you get what i mean

the folded sleeve of his left arm is wrong in that his forearm is coming towards the viewer so the folded bit should be pointing towards the viewer as well rather than down

i think he should have a little more crotch room as well as looser trousers

RE: Now working on something "American" - Cobalt Blue - 06-27-2011

sorry to spoil it but you have no reason to switch to shading yet. that anatomy is still bad to a point i might actually winder if you get it or not.

mean, do you even use references?

RE: Now working on something "American" - DioShiba - 06-27-2011

I'm going to be honest and admit I don't really know where I am going with this anymore.
probably the most massive change to this, the legs. Which I probably ended screwing the folds of the pants up.

look

I suggest leaving this alone for a while and start working on small things first. Like masquerain said, you're trying to bite off more than you can chew and all you'll ever get from this is headaches and a wonky sprite.

start small, make simpler things but with anatomical techniques; then you can move onto realistic stuff, like you're trying to do here.

RE: Now working on something "American" - Cobalt Blue - 06-27-2011

try making this exact same thing in lets say, 50x50.

Okay I got it the time gorsal said, there was no need to even post this.

[mod] This post is therefore redundant too. I'm exasperated by your recent whining and spitefulness towards other members. If you don't tone it down, I might have to go as far as suspending your posting privileges.
