RE: TSR PokeDex Project - stache - 04-09-2011

The first stage looks kind of "silly" imo. The second stage is awesome though, I would train anything to lv 50 to get that. Really cool stuff.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 04-09-2011

I'm going to say the opposite, I like the silly one better. It emphasizes on the ghost aspect better.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - stache - 04-09-2011

Ghosts are... silly?

Well, the description he gives clearly implies a more serious ghost, as it was possessed by evil spirits.

How would we do a "silly" second stage?

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Garamonde - 04-09-2011

That idea for the ghosts ROCKS. It really makes me want to join in on this but I don't have time... Sad

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 04-09-2011

Silly ghost Pokemon?

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - stache - 04-09-2011

But for this concept, and evil possessed ghost and a headless swordsman, dont you think it would be more proper to have a scarier pokemon, like Spiritomb, Cofagrius, Giratina. That's like the only silly ghost pokemon. Besides frillish, and maybe Bannete. There are no other silly ghosts.

True, but in the same sense there aren't many spooky or evil looking ghost types. Also, when it comes to silly looking ghosts, you forgot Rotom, and probably Driftloon and his evo to a certain extent.

Either way I like the proposed designs, going from a silly jack-o-lantern which brings to mind the idea or halloween, and thus trick or treating, as he looks like one who'd go about causing mischief, where as the evolved for looks much more serious, like he's gone above simple pranks and is ready to cause some serious trouble.

Honestly, if done correctly, they almost seem like they could be two different pokemon that share a history of some sort, like Seviper and Zangoose. I could see them having evo's that could work upon their themes (well, the Headless horseman's would be easier, the jack-o-lantern may takem ore work), that would still relate them to each other. This is provided of course we can't come to an agreement on if it should be silly or evil. My vote is one both, as stated above.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - stache - 04-09-2011

I guess having two different ones to have one that is silly and evil would work. For the silly one, how about a scarecrow with a jack-o-lantern head. It could prank people by scarring them randomly.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Teabagger9777 - 04-11-2011

I like the jack o lantern pokemon it looks good.

can annbody do a design for my idea of the saberthooth please!!!!
I cannot draw pokemon.

DOES ANYBODY LIKE ME????Cry

there could be a cockatrice pokemon
It is a bird crossed with a snake mythical creature.
it could be flying/poison type

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - mutantyoshi - 04-11-2011

I have An idea for the sabertooth, since I thought of a cheetah Pokemon, we could make the evo a sabertooth, but then it will be too much like Riakuo (or how ever it is spelt) because it will be a lightning type, since there is nothing faster then light.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Garamonde - 04-11-2011

Raikou is a legendary dog/beast, but it does resemble a cheetah...

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 04-11-2011

Actually Raikou has stripes, so it resembles a tiger more.

Anyway I figure the Jack-O-Lantern should be the trick-or-treat Pokemon. Giving treats to children and playing tricks on adults.

I like that Idea. Maybe it can spit candy at people Big Grin

Edit: What do you think of this idea? A gel-like pokémon? Maybe a Jellofish Big Grin

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 04-11-2011

Well there's already quite a few Jellyfish Pokemon. But we have a sea anemone the needs a final design. Maybe we should look at that.

Also where's Drakocat? She never fully explained these guys and I'm still interested.
