No, not really but featuring fire truck-like elements but wouldn't look like one. Would you guess Exploud is based off the pipe organ?

Then again I don't think we should push that either. Just hose-like elements perhaps but we'll see.

well, water/fire cannot happen, because they are opposites, it will also be like if we had a grass/fire pokemon. What if we make a water/fighting pokemon. for the dragons, we could just base them off of real dragon myths found in mythology.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Kitsu - 11-08-2010

A fire-truck-ish Pokemon sounds awesome. You could simply have the tail sort of lean over the Pokemon, then the nose is the hose, and it can have things on its head that sort of resemble the flashy lights (but aren't lights).

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - mutantyoshi - 11-08-2010

for a dragon idea, this is found at the link Koopaul provided on the first post.

This is based on a beast in the bible

"In the Book of Job Chapter 41, the sea monster Leviathan, which has some dragon-like characteristics, is described as God talks about the "king of beasts" that lived upon the Earth at a former time. Some people think this comes from an older Mesopotamian creation myth in which Tiamat is depicted as a goddess salt-water sea monster, while others believe it refers to a now-extinct sea creature like the Plesiosaur."

I was going to post another baised on the bible, but since I'm Christian, I don't like demonic stuff, and the other is basically satan, so yeah....if you guys want to do that then thats fine. but basically it is a seven headed dragon, forgot the other details, but yeah.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - [robo9] - 11-08-2010

Maybe a geyser or steam related pokemon could go as water/fire. Also might I suggest a jackolatern or tiki torch pokemon for fire/grass? And maybe a glass boxer for a fighting/ice.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 11-09-2010

I came up with a teapot Pokemon that was Water / Fire.

I believe this has also not been done:

FLYING

Besides flying type Arceus, which doesn't really count, all other flying type Pokemon have another type, even if it's normal type.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Baegal - 11-09-2010

I know everyone's getting excited about the new type combinations and pokemon ideas, but shouldn't we be focusing on the starters for now?

Yes, once we get the starters done, then we can start to think abot others

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - soulcaliburfan - 11-09-2010

Yeah sorry about posting that. Didn't mean to distract anyone.

Anyway I think most of us agree that these are the basic designs we should work off of.

http://img574.imageshack.us/img574/628/ramdesign.png

We should tweak them, change them a bit, and finalize them for spriting.

RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Baegal - 11-10-2010

actually, the ram would be based off of this one
