Which of the following do you guys prefer? I think 4a has to be my favorite.

And I think Kyledove's tiles are too dull and depressing to use imho.
A bit more editing:

I prefer this one.

Using the thinner light haired design (4a)

I'm really pleased with this.

Think I've got my OW done nicely now. Ignore the rubbish. Cute

umm, this may be a bit out there, but how about a rock tumbler rotom, it can be called tumble rotom, and it could use attacks like rockslide, or rollout, that would be cool,
also, i'm not sure if kyledove's sinnoh tileset is very compatible to the sprites your doing, maybe once ur done desaturate them a bit.

Aren't usually only common household appliances used as Rotom forms?

no, that wouldnt work at all.

Grass/Ghost or Grass/Dark would work better
ghost for will-o-wisp
dark for trick moves
We already have a Grass Dark Pokemon.

that's why i even suggested it. and i know about vulpix, but hey if you can pull off a design then let me know.

RE: Pokemon Prism: The tSR Pokemon Game - Pikachu-Trainer - 04-06-2010

I have just had such a random thought, but what if the game was either set in the past or the future? The game could then create back storys to characters that already exist, but have new characters like the members of tsr. I think it could work, as I would really like to see what everyone could come up with using the characters.

I may start designing a quick cave map just for a test, as I am really bored at the moment Tongue

Rough utline of trainer sprite, and OW sprite.

gah screw shading with a pointy stick :/

RE: Pokemon Prism: The tSR Pokemon Game - Lemon - 04-06-2010

Really good start robo, but look at the piccy below. On the rigt you can see where I tried to make the clothes and lower face look more in style, but I had no idea what to do with that hat. I might try again later, but I left a few images of HGSS Characters with hats. If you look at the Giovanni one, I think that's quite similar to what you were getting at. Feel free to use any of the changes I made, or parts of them, or not at all. Hope it helped. Cute

The hat shading still needs some work

RE: Pokemon Prism: The tSR Pokemon Game - Lemon - 04-06-2010

I think the problem is it looking a bit too flat. Never use only black as the outline colour, that never happens in this style. And you need more colours to give it more depth. Most palettes on hats are in at least threes, with up to six or seven altogether with other colours for flash bits or interesting stuff.

EDIT: Just realized that base is quite fat. I'll make a new one tomorrow.

You have just witnessed my ridiculous inability to sprite
the human form.

The sprites are really nice, just a lot too small. WE're going for HG/SS style, so overworlds are this size. [Image: hair.png] I posted a rough base a while back if you want to edit that into your sprite.

This is HGSS, not GSC.

The finished sprites are both old R/S/E sprites are made. About two years ago, actually.
I'm TRYING to fix the unfinished one, but of course its a pain in my arse.

Why is the professor's name citrus? That's not even a type of tree...

RE: Pokemon Prism: The tSR Pokemon Game - Lemon - 04-06-2010

Neither is Ivy if I remember correctly.
