Not true.

It takes some work, but you can rename any format to any other format. I've seen a lot of pdf files hidden in PNGs.

i know you can hex edit it to any other format


but

if you rename it, it will keep it still or make it unopenable (try and rename a pdf to a png or vice versa x])

edit: unless you mean hex editing in which case yes

i used to be real interested and just kept hiding it until someone explained how it was done
but now that someone has, i'm going to pretend that it wasn't at all that hard in the first place - i could have figured that out on my own
