Friedslick, Eternal said Otacon's office model can wait. I have sent him the Heliport model. He's gonna try and vertex Shadow Moses Island into that model since the converter isn't out yet.

Fair enough. FRANKASTER, will you be planning on releasing any levels as well as models? I have a project in mind and was thinking of ripping them myself...

well that dude is making the map from scratch...
since ripping maps from the twin snakes is pretty uses since we only get shadowmaps uv's, and redoing the uv's for material will take many time

Oh, I wasn't intending on releasing the maps un-remade. This is hard to explain, but my plan is to rip every map from MGS:TTS, merge them into one large object, import that object into a FPS, slowly recreate it to perfect scale, and texture it (because I'm a sucker for perfection.) Anyway, enough about my ideas. If anyone wants to know more they can just send me a PM.

You know as cool as that sounds, that is a pretty big game right? I mean it could probably be done if you split it into a number of parts, but one big thing like that would be very ridiculous. If its even possible to do as one map, you'd have to place a rather ridiculous amount of portals everywhere to stop the game from rendering everything at once.

Its not that it wouldn't be fun to play, but it would be more than a little ridiculous getting that to work I'm thinkin'.

well no mater what happens and how they are made i'll be happy to get some stages to use for my MGS videos....it gets tireing useing the same labratory stage as a substatute for the shinra building/shadow moses/asenal gear....etc...etc..etc..

Well the plan was that I'd recreate the entire MGS world and save that as a single map for a kinda co-op OSOK campaign, but also divide the main sections up for non-campaign modes. There will be quite alot of work to do, starting with ripping every area. I hate to advertise, but help would be... Helpful.

I think i responded to your pm the other day... I'll repat this again, i don't know how to import stuff into gmod and making player models and npc's... after the model packs i'll learn

i can't rip bigbosse's out fit for some reason, so i just pasted the head over brwal's mgs3 snake trophie... maybe future versions of the emu's ripper might getthe uncorrupted textures that I still need... or make one myself
