actually while you can't get the character models it is possible to get the maps from mgs3.

Yeah, but only second-hand through 3D Ripper DX. They need to be colour swapped, and have their opacity increased by 50%. Also, sometimes the textures aren't properly captured.
The method is much too inconsistent to rely on...

Yeah, PS2 games have never done terribly well with 3D Ripper. I think there may be certain builds of PCSX2 that work well with it, but other than that its always been kind of a pain for people.

For people who will get pissed...
Strangely, her body textures arn't as "real" as it looks...
Also, her bra textures are in a transparent format in a seperate file.

The MGS3 texture pack only came with EVA textures and Big Boss model files.
What do you say? Good quality or what?

How is the pack going so far FRANKASTER? What is left to be finished?

well I got a big load of work lately and some personal problems that need most of my time lately, i just need to finish some stuff like removing garbaje geometry, removing some alphas or inverting them, pixing some stuff, some uv's are flipped I will return to this maybe next week, the mgs3 stuff looks kool, let's see if i can rip the mgs3 bosses from metal gear acid 2 special mode and use mgs3 textures if some one has the patience and dedication to get them (which i don't have).... o yeah i got this bandana less naked snake face texture but colors are messed up, what should i do with it? yup for some reason i want a snake model WITHOUT the bandana.

Rip a Big Boss model from the begaining of MGS3. Or you can take default Brawl Snake and vertex off his bandanna.

Btw how are we going off topic if I just posted ripped EVA textures from MGS3?

I didn't say we were off-topic, I just noted we might've been about to.
FRANKASTER, what if the models from MGA2 aren't exactly the same?
I could try ripping the textures using PCSX2 again if I had some savestates/memory card saves of what I needed to rip, but I didn't get far last time...
I'd also have to find a revision that works best for MGS3.

I know they're not the same but is better than nothing, if you want to try the pcsx2 let me pass you this save state so you can surf 1st trough the custscenes and catch the guys on the most neutral pose as posible... or watch deltaforce's hd youtube videos to have a overall idea of when to catch the models (i did that on the twin snakes before using 3dvia) I tried the method you wanted to use but i only got dummie data few square polygons and textures and the rest was garbage... I wish you the best luck here's your mgs3 subsistence save file, and yup lest just use cinematic models because gameplay models are very low.res and they don't have fingers

I probably wouldn't be able to capture models and fix them up; that'd be someone else's expertise.
I'll try to rip the textures some time next week.

If he had another account here at one point, which I seem to recall he did, and that was banned than that would be why. I didn't have anything to do with it so I had no idea.
