It's all randomly-generated, so there's a chance that you'll be near snow upon starting, as well as a chance that the closest snow is 3 maps away.

God, I went in and played for 10 minutes and realized he's completely right...
Well, I'm still getting my money's worth out of this.
Also while the graphics are what they are, I don't see them as something detrimental to the game, it's what charmed many people in the first place

Is it just me or is Minecraft superfucking laggy? I've ran games with much higher usage and graphical requirements infinitely better than I can run Minecraft, and its really ruined by the fact that I have a hard time telling what the fuck I'm doing because it doesn't keep up with me
Well, I tinkered with the video options, and for some reason it was on power saver for frame rate, it's on max, but meh at least it's better.
