Gosh, the arguments you guys get into. Next person who posts something off-topic or flames in this thread is getting warned, geez.

Anyways, I don't have a DSi, but like Shawn said, I have a DS, I haven't played it in forever but I realize it's more of a kiddie game system that has some really cool games now and then.

RE: Dsi is for kids. - FLYBOMBER - 04-15-2009

GTA isn't a kids game though.

RE: Dsi is for kids. - Alpha Six - 04-15-2009

The DSi and the Wii both are more advertised towards families rather than "gamers," so that's how all those "kiddie games" come into play. But there's always a third party developer somewhere who wants to show that it doesn't HAVE to be a "kiddie" system, hence MadWorld, No More Heroes, Manhunt 2, etc.

The lack of a GBA slot was sort of off-putting for me

but if it had one (and the added function of GBC as well) then I would have got it at launch.

Havent you got a flash card?
Just get EZ-Flash 3 in 1 and you can play all the gba games you want.

Yea,h but I have a Slot-1 card which don't play GBA games.
anyway, flash carts don't work on the DSi yet. Nintendo locked them out.

I like this guy already. But, save until the DSi is... Nintendo sure is adding lots of features. Hope they realized that's what got sony in their situation.

But the "Kiddie games" get front shelfs.

Custom firmware can be made for that.

not true. you can find rated M games on front shelf just as much as the kiddie games do

RE: Dsi is for kids. - FLYBOMBER - 04-15-2009

Sorry but do you live in every state? Didn't think so. Just because it happened in your area does not mean my area is the same.

RE: Dsi is for kids. - Adam - 04-15-2009

But just because your area front-shelves kiddie games and others don't means you have to complain about it? Others probably do to. Just look harder for better games.

Also Tyvon, great post.

RE: Dsi is for kids. - DioShiba - 04-15-2009

@ALLCAPS USERUnsureorry but can't you be less of a arrogant ass when stating something? nope not yet. it wouldn't remotely matter what area you are in to go to your local or next town gamestop to find rated M games on the shelf. Edit: like dex said, look harder.

RE: Dsi is for kids. - FLYBOMBER - 04-15-2009

I didn't say not on shelfs. I said in rhe back.

I know. It's currently in the works, but as of now nothing is available.
edit- Trust me, I stay up to date on homebrew. :p

RE: Dsi is for kids. - Ravecat - 04-15-2009

There are two flashcarts that work iirc.
