Bomberman is multiplatform. Hence, not exclusively Nintendo. Tell me one Nintendo game that wasn't made on a Nintendo console. You can't. You can say that about Hudson, however. Hudson is very close to Nintendo, yes. But they're not part of Nintendo. It's very, very close third party.

I checked, double-checked, but Atlus doesn't have any memorable character or any franchise at all. The closest thing we can put is a character from Snowboard Kids, and we won't put a Snowboard Kids character there... Will us?
Atlus' mascot is Jack Frost, which is.... A snowman... Will'o Lantern.... thing....

Shin Megami Tensi has a shit load of games. Now most of them are on Sony Consoles ( only one on Nintendo consoles I can think of are Strang Journey and Devil Survivor) we can easily make a moveset for someone from Persona, Devil Summoner, or something.

I have completely forgotten about Persona/Shin Megami Tensei. I was going to look deeper into those games but I forgot. Still, I don't think it'd be suitable to put it in, it's rather obscure for Nintendo, and it doesn't suit SSB much.

Putting in a persona rather than a character (Souji, Minato) might work. That, or I had an idea form Raidou Kuzunoha that could work.

I know we said against double reps but if we did that for the above we'd have 10, just two more than we were originally going to have anyway.

SEGA: Sonic / Tails?
Capcom: Mega Man / Viewtiful Joe
Square: Geno / Black Mage
Namco: Klonoa / Pac-Man

i agree too. we're having a much harder time coming up with obscure third parties. there will be sacrifices either way but at least with two for the main third parties it's not so damn hard to get ideas. anyway, if we do that i'd say

Sega: Sonic/Billy Hatcher or Vectorman or something that isn't sonic related
Capcom: Megaman/Viewtiful Joe
Square: Geno/Black Mage

We had a vote on how to decide how many 3rd parties there would be. 2 from each company was an option, but it lost. We should stick with 1 from 8 different companies because that won the vote.

I'm inclined to agree that we should go wiht the vote, but at the same time I don't think it was really thought through that hard and the two from less option seems that it would work a lot better.
