I don't understand your other question though. Large like these: http://www.spriters-resource.com/other_systems/prinny/ Quote:What type of weapon will she be using? I need to know so I can put her in the stance that will accommodate the weapon for it's best use. None. She kicks and punches. Quote:Sorry to let you down, but the promise of "A split of the profits" won't sway most pixel artists. Unless you have the kind of budget to pay a pixel artist well, most of the folks here are going to turn down the offer. Hand-drawn art and animation is one thing, and I'm sure there'd be some people more-than-willing to do it for free, but pixel art is a long, strenuous process, and unless they're working for themselves, hardly any of them will do it for free. Sorry, but that's the most I can promise at the moment. But our pixel artist won't work by him/herself of course. Our modeler and programmers are willing to join. No need to be overly harsh on someone's opinion :l(06-06-2010, 02:11 AM)TheProtalGruru Wrote: pixel art is a long, strenuous process,go kill yourself. RE: Twilight Crescendo (Pixel Artist Needed) - RokuGurin - 06-07-2010 I know I might be wasting my time, but I'll do anything to pique some interest. The entire team believes pixel art will be more flexible to work with. RE: Twilight Crescendo (Pixel Artist Needed) - RokuGurin - 06-10-2010 Still looking for help RE: Twilight Crescendo (Pixel Artist Needed) - ThePortalGuru - 06-10-2010 I'd suggest making some somewhat passable placeholder art and working on a playable demo of the engine before moving on to getting an artist. The better your engine, the more likely you are to get a good artist. RE: Twilight Crescendo (Pixel Artist Needed) - RokuGurin - 06-13-2010 Our programmer is working on a demo but we still need a pixel artist. I have edited the first post with more details. RE: Twilight Crescendo (Pixel Artist Needed) - Dasani - 06-27-2010 I'm not that familiar with pixel art but here's what I came up with RE: Twilight Crescendo (Pixel Artist Needed) - Gors - 06-28-2010 No. That just feels like a poor resize of the concept art. I suggest doing something from scratch. EDIT: here's an example of how it could be (but it could be less detailed imo) ![]() |
