This
I honestly NEVER played No More Heroes
However, I think he's an awesome character and he could have a great moveset. No More Heroes also has a huge fanbase

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Cshad - 11-22-2009

Ice Climbers had their own game, isnt Goroh just a supporting character in F-Zero?

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Sol - 11-22-2009

An easy solution to Travis' swearing is just not to use sound files that have swears in them. There should be enough voice clips where he doesn't curse, right? Haha.

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Alpha Six - 11-22-2009

Yeah, there are plenty.

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Koopaul - 11-22-2009

Ah I don't really care. All the other legendary video game stars on there except you know who.

Seriously though I don't pick characters because I think they'll be cool

RE: Player Pitch Pit - tsr moderation staff - 11-22-2009

and that's the problem with most of your ideas. you pick them because they represent something without factoring in how cool they are or how fun they'd be.

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Koopaul - 11-23-2009

Cool is an opinion and Fun can be worked into any character.

Some people think Mario is a lame fat plumber, some people think SONIC RULEZ!!!1!1

But I don't go by that.

I agree with one half of this and disagree with the other half.

1. Travis Touchdown is awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing him in this.

2. Ridley is awesome AND a Nintendo character AAAND a Metroid Villain (Metroid is lacking both playable characters and playable villains). Trying to compare an equally awesome, but third party character to him is silly in my book.

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Gold - 11-23-2009

I'm just gonna go ahead and say how badly I would dislike for Sukapon or Tavis to be in the game. Mostly Travis. Tongue

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Koopaul - 11-23-2009

Consider this guys, we'd have to make a stage and Cards for NMH too. We'd have to do more for that series than just Travis himself. Unlike the Metal Gear series (which is still rated M) No More Heroes' charm is entirely about its crudeness.

Metal Gear can be represented without cigars and guns but keep the fans happy. But could NMH be represented nicely without the swears and toilet humor? I think not. It wouldn't be the same.

It would be like MadWorld without blood. Or Mai Shiranui without bouncy boobs. It can't be edited. It'd be a Travisty!

Okay, anyone wanting to deter anyone from suggesting Travis, use this word. It'll work 100% of the time. I love this word.

One note is that a character doesn't HAVE to have a stage specific to them... although the example which I would use for that is ROB. Everyone else in Brawl had a stage that could be associated with them. xD

Just keep in mind that there might be 8 seperate parties needed. Just keep Travis in the back of your minds just in case. Very Sad

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Cshad - 11-23-2009

Mother has some pretty screwed up things in it and its being represented just fine

RE: Player Pitch Pit - TomGuycott - 11-23-2009

Mother's screwed up themes have more to do with intense trauma, tragedy, and profound concepts that make one's head implode.

NMH has lots of swearing, decapitation, sexual innuendos and an automated Gimp-murdering-machine.

It's KINDA a different definition of screwed up.

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Alpha Six - 11-23-2009

NMH still has plenty of enough worksafe content that'll make it just fine. Swearing can easily be altered, and if you want bloodless kills, just watch the Japanese/European version.

RE: Player Pitch Pit - Koopaul - 11-23-2009

Yeah but if were to make a Bad Girl card it would be kinda hard to write a description without being vulgar Tongue
