Looks good, but Muk's slime probably shouldn't be flat on the overworld sprite; it's supposed to be at a slight angle. Make it look more like there's a bit more of a top view.

Theres supposed to be a standing still pose, as well as an in-battle ready to fight pose. I haven't drawn the ready to fight yet, but it would probably look something like that.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Davy Jones - 06-26-2009

Muk looks great, but Arcanine's forelegs are too rigid, there is no bend. Lapras... his fins are really too small, I can't imagine how this pokemon would move.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Boo - 06-26-2009

There's two poses for over 300 Pokemon. Wow, I thought there was just going to be one, that will take along time..

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - PlasmaMan - 06-26-2009

Correction, 23 sprites for 300 pokemon, not including special attacks.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Zabi - 06-26-2009

Didn't Tyvon say something about different pokemon sizes? (you know, like growing when reaching higher levels). That would be like 5 times more sprites for each pokemon.
Anyway, I also want to contribute to this project because I love the whole concept. I gave a shot at Larvitar, and I think it turned out decent. The colors are about to change, when an official palette is there.

Any suggestions/criticism?

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Alpha Six - 06-26-2009

Larvitar looks great, but its face looks a bit misplaced. I can't put my finger on it.

23+ POSES for 300 pokemon. Framerates make the number like, 7x higher.

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Vipershark - 06-26-2009

it's because you can see larvitar's far eye
either angle his entire body towards us or get rid of the far eye

RE: Pokemon Zero Sprites - Alpha Six - 07-03-2009
