And smaller resolutions, or on mobile. It's only attachments that appear this way.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

I experience the flickering Koh mentioned as well as significant portions of the page not loading at all while using my laptop. I run Ubuntu 12.04 and use Chrome as my browser. I have not experienced this phenomenon on my Windows 8 while using Chrome or on my Wii U's browser.

I haven't seen this happen in person yet so it's extremely difficult to diagnose. Is the flickering limited to the thanked by row or does it happen elsewhere? As for entire chunks of the page disappearing, I don't even have a theory on that yet.

That looks more like an element is loading in front of the page rather than an arbitrary section being invisible, check out how the images at the bottom are cut off near the top, if they weren't loading properly they'd be cut off at the bottom instead. (unless we're talking interlaced .jpg's, but this isn't the 90's anymore)

Not much of a help I realise, but since you can't recreate it and it seems totally random, I'd say maybe it's something to do with specific ads being loaded in?
That's just off the top of my head though, it could just as easily be another dynamic element.

Point taken, but how about an option in the User CP to change it so that other members could view them in full size?

Various page elements flicker, but the "thanked by" is most frequent and flickers at a different rate. I think they're probably different issues.

This only happens on Chrome on Linux, right?
Have you noticed it in different browsers while on Ubuntu?

I don't seem to notice the errors while using FireFox.

Both Koh and Kriven noticed it in Chrome (though on different OSes) so perhaps it's a Chrome-specific issue...?
That doesn't explain Kriven not seeing it on Win7 but it's better than nothing.

I'm using Firefox and while I don't have the "flickering" issue, thanks often disappear for me; they only become visible when I highlight them and then they stay that way.

I don't notice it on Windows 8. I could test it on my mom's Windows 7 at some point if you want?

Sorry, that was a typo.
Might as well if it's not inconvenient, though.

When you change the colors, would it be possible to make the line between posts and signatures darker? It's hard to see right now.

Done. Let me know if it's too dark now.
