Post here to talk about video games you have fond memories of from a previous point in your life.
If I had to bring some up, I'll have to mention Wii Sports, Pokemon Platinum (first Pokemon game), and PCÂ games made by PopCap (Peggle, Plants Vs. Zombies, etc.).
i would file this under Polygon Fetishism actually
im not nostalgic for most regular videogames anymore: the other sad problem of being a pixelartists is i can't enjoy old 2D games from a nostalgia perspective. i mostly just look at them and see a bunch of frames of animation and pixelart moving. the only outliers on this are like, castlevania and super metroid which aren't really nostalgic at all they're just super good videogames and i love to play them

Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES. My brother and i used to roam the house pretending to be shyguys because of it
Sim Theme Park n' SimCoaster man. Those games were my fuckin' shit. Everything was just so full of cartoony wonder and the soundtrack was God's gift to my ears.
I should get to ripping the sounds from those games sometime.
