Who here likes table/paper games? As you know, card games, sudoku, tic-tac-toe and scrabble are also games!

Needless to say, this thread is for these kinds of games! Karuta, uno, sudoku, crosswords and hanafuda are my fave! Exciting!

Right, so tell me your preferences Content
I used to play Dungeons and Dragons with my brother and two of his friends when I was a kid, and to be honest I miss it a lot.

We made up a lot of the rules and we didn't have any sort of guidebook, and really early on we also had no dice, so instead we had a deck of cards and drew from it for rolls.

We were so far removed from D&D that we just called it "The Paper Game", because we wrote all our character info in looseleaf notebooks by hand.
Clue and Monopoly will be always my favorite board games. I still remember playing these two a lot with friends.

For cards I still have all my Magic The Gathering cards, too bad that all people that I knew quit and sold their cards.
The same thing ended up happening for me with Yu-Gi-Oh! I got into Hearthstone and most of my card playing friends got into something called Cardfight Vanguard. I didn't want to buy a whole new deck so I jumped ship in that regard. I've still got all my cards though and kinda want to play right now.
I'd like to try out some strategy tabletops, but I'd have to find people to play with first
other than that, I haven't played any table games in a long time outside of an occasional "lol mom bought another boardgame from goodwill, time to play it once before it goes into storage"
If anyone feels like playing something, I'm sure it could be arranged over skype or with a program of sorts. I know for a fact that you can do online yugioh with devpro and dueling network, though I much prefer devpro. There's also Tabletop simulator which is on sale for $10 atm over steam, but I've never used it so I can't attest to its quality.
