Parasect is the weakest 1st Gen Pokémon (ignoring unevolved), iirc.

Bug/Grass also has the most weaknesses. It's actually x8 weak to fire if it has the Dry Skin ability.

How does it survive in t he sun at all?

It doesn't - Dry Skin also does health-drain damage if Sunny Day is in effect!

So it walks out of the shade and bursts into flames. Rofl.
