Just to give you a friendly bit of advice, trying to use URLs for things you can access on your desktop will not work because (barring hackers) nobody is able to access your computer. The Internet is only able to sample information that is already put on there and is unable to automatically check what data you have on your own computer.

Anyway, regarding the image you posted, any reason why it's so small? If you could tell me where you hosted it, I might be able to help you and offer alternate ways to host the image without it resizing like that.

custom super Mario bros sprites i made to look like super smash bros sprites.what do you think?Cool
@ Ominkariz
The demoman's legs could use some work. I think the nose and head could be bigger to allow for more detail.

This is my edit, I stuck with his normal costume. (I don't play TF2 to know what hat you are using :I )

@SmashBrosFan10
Looks like a edit of the nes mario, so not exactly custom. Needs a lot of work and I couldn't tell he had two arms. Though making nes style smash bros characters could be cool. I'd use Mario 3 sprites however.
@SmashBrosFan10

I would probably suggest reducing the color palette. You could replace the black of his mustache with brown and you could use his skin color for the buttons on his overalls. There are currently 2 yellows and a white for the buttons, you may want to keep it simple with just the skin color. If it's retro style, it's usually important to have a small palette.

Also, I personally find it easier to use outlines when spriting. I find it helps the sprite appear a bit neater.

The final thing I have to say, is look carefully at Mario's fighting stance when working on your own sprite, working with a reference can help you to include important details and to keep the character's anatomy correct.

I hope this helps!

There are a lot flaws with Mario's design. Try taking a careful look at Mario's fighting stance( I mean from the actual games, or even from your profile image ). Pay close attention to things like his body, arms, legs, etc.

As Virtuaboy said, I think it would help to take a look at the Super Mario Bros. 3 sprites. I'm not saying you should modify this Mario into a fighting position, I'm saying that it may help if you studied the sprites and used a similar style.

Just ignore what I said earlier about outlines, I didn't explain well at all, so sorry if I caused a bit of confusion. For outlines, it may help to look at the Mario Bros. 3 sprites to see how they did theirs.

For a NES styled sprite, you would normally use 3 colors(plus a transparent color), but I don't think that's a necessary restriction for a new spriter to follow. Just try not to use too many colors for now( if it's retro styled, I think 4-5 colors would be OK ).
