I thought Steve said something about Burning Depths outside a window. I can't check, because I don't have the game. (3DS version still has no date)
i'd totally put space harrier, outrun's ferrari(or a faux replica) and Ecco as a car.
ecco would've made sense as the water vehicle for the AGES car, but they decided to have a dreamcast controller boat instead.
i dont particulary get how the AGES car was designed. it would had made more sense if the whole thign was made out of controllers or from arcade vehicles(and sega got plenty of racing arcades to choose from).
did sega have any notable arcade games that involved boating, or any other kind of water travel? i only just now made the connection that the daytona hornet car and the after burner f-14 were both arcade vehicles.
you could just put Temjim surfing on his rifle

HOLY SHIT why isnt there any references to VIRTUAL ON?!
The vehicle
It's pretty much set in stone that the 3DS version won't be released until February.
I do not own any supported platform other than PC (which in turn wouldn't work, because of lacking CD-drive) and 3DS. Makes me a sad kitty.

Yeah, he's part of the track decor, swimming around in a water tank.

Sega Bass Fishing, but that'd be an open-cab boat while Hornet and the F-14 are better at hiding the fact that your driver is a morphing VMU (and the controller gives said VMU more context).

Really, I'm just content the Hornet was in the game. If I can't have Banjo back, that car goes a long way toward easing the loss.
You know what day it is?
It's the best time of the year!
It's Alex Kidd Day!
If you have the game, from this day onward, Alex Kidd will be available.
It's free (it's a timed unlock, not DLC), it's unlocked the moment you boot the game, whether you boot it today or in 5 years, so don't worry about missing out, ain't gonna happen.
So have fun playing as the jolly fellow in red, Alex Kidd. (I still don't own the game, but I'll main him hard, along with Metal, when I do.)
My mains are Wreck-It Ralph and NiGHTS.

Alex Kidd always glitches in the races when he's an opponent. He just sorta runs into a wall and stays there forever.

This. I was about to ask about this on here to see if it was just my eyes deceiving me...

I've gotten into this game again, going to actually try and get a bit further in it.
"DLC wise, there has been some motion there and it's looking very likely we can do something, but that's all I can right now. When there is something more concrete I can confirm, I most certainly will!" -S0L a.k.a. Steve Lycett
In other words, expect DLC in the future.
"Actually... We got approval for a specific character this morning. But that's all I can say right now... Tongue" -S0L a.k.a. Steve Lycett
Oh shit! At least 1 character is confirmed for future DLC! Who might it be?
I'm hoping Vectorman, but I'm guessing it's Ryo Hazuki.
inb4 you guys just get one of the pc exclusive characters

That being said, I kinda wanna buy it since its only 25€ at launch but i'm not entirely sure just yet
