Map graphics!

Known issues:

1-perspective doesn't match for the castle. I am aware of that, but it wouldn't work in any other way unless I make the screen to scroll. I /might/ do something about it, but it's unlikely. I was also afraid of giving Ploaj extra work...
2-the icons/object placement are all WIP. They're mostly to test how well the tiles combine.

otherwise, feel free to comment.

I... don't like the second-darkest green, it appears to be too yellow and desaturated to match the others somehow and has rather low contrast too, I feel.

The question mark box shadows should be further to the right I think.

Random Talking Bush's bulbs could drop a slight shadow so they look more like they're actually part of him.

The perspective of the castle does not match!!
Panty flag for the win.

Seems like kitti's going to feel a draft today.
Hehe, random talking bush appears in a level. Probably to give out hints when you uncover secret areas. Though, the castle should look a bit more animu, probably considering the already otaku nature of this game. Sick
Hey, Gors. Can I be a beta tester? This game is looking quite amazing! I really love how you pulled the New Super Marisa Land style so accurately.

One thing though: make the bosses fun. Mario games/fan games (at least the platformers) have a tendency of having good level design but piss easy bosses. I really hate that. Boss battles are my favorite part of any game, and I'd like them to be decently long and especially fun. Just a suggestion.

That reminds me. Has RTB ever been on the forums? I've never seen him around.

I made that quite clear in the post

As for the other issues, I'll address them as soon as possible.

@DragonBoy, you're talking to a Treasure fan. That should be hint enough Wink

A hint that you'll make bosses that even Marina Liteyears herself would have fun beating up?
The over-world map, yay! Big Grin

I'll work on adding it soon.
Hey Gors, Ploaj, this is incredible, i wanted to ask are you updating the OP with the newest demos of SAW, i've been away for over 4 months, i've missed quite a few things to say the least, I had no idea i was even in this game
it's beautiful.
i really missed you, Guy :o welcome back Heart
Maybe it's just me but the stone that the castle is on seems like it's at a different angle than the grass.

It's in the original post, stop bringing it up.
I'm sure he just didn't see it so let's be easy on him. I didn't notice it at first either.
Oh, sorry, wow, the way I typed that was really succinct and kinda rude. Sorry, Chaoxys!

But yeah, I feel like there must be some way to make the castle actually match up... mind explaining why you think it's beyond repair, Gors? 'Cause I'm not really seeing it, other than having to redraw it.
