Hooray! Care to update the Kremling sheet if you haven't already?

EDIT: Could you also add those unused Kopter sprites to my sheet plus any other unused Kremling pose?
I've started updating some of the sheets already. Not quite to DKC3 yet.

Can you separate the parts of this animation?

The explosion parts can't be separated any more than that. That's how it looks.
Would anybody be willing to re-rip King Zing from DKC2? If anyone missed my post, I said that he actually has more frames the current sheet. I think he has a flashing stinger, too.

I can take a crack at it.

Well, here's my observations of King Zing:
1. The stinger itself is a separate sprite from the main body with it's own palette.

2. The stingers palette follows a set pattern.

3. The palette change in the main body does not affect the stinger.

My conclusion: The sheet will need to contain the following set-up.
- Yellow Body, no stinger
- Red Body, no stinger
- Stinger, all poses (each row is one palette, looks like 4-8)
- Yellow Body, with stinger (to help align everything)
- Plus attacks, possibly normal size-zingers

Checked out the graphics in the ROM and it looks like King Zing has 13 14 poses, so at the very least there should be 13 14 poses for the stinger itself.
Or just have it like I have here for the GBA version.

Ant, if you get time do you think you could finish Diddy's team up sprites? That's the last major hurdle of this project. Smile

I'm pretty sure this in already on a updated sheet somewhere.
Oh, Diddy doesn't move while Dixie walks with him on her shoulders? Dixie has a bunch of frames. But maybe that's because of her hair...

I'm about the organize the Diddy sheet. A few things we're still missing;
-His map sprites from DKC1
-DKC1 palettes (I'll be getting those myself very shortly)
-DKC2 hanging from hook (without hook)

Is that all? Is his stereo animation complete? Does he really only have one Rattly riding sprite?
I updated Swanky's sheet with his barrel that you only see from the credits. I didn't think it would be different. Ton, maybe you could add that barrel to the objects sheet?
