Not to mention it looks very cheap when your on the edge of the level and everything's top down while the the ground is slanted.
I think that Medevenx was pointing out how slanted we have the view right now.
i think #2 could look really cool if we did some 3d dynamic thing so our perspective changed as the characters move, but that might take a bit too much effort

That would not be possible. Well, it would be, but nobody would actually do it.
This is why I think 3 works best.
how dose this look

Perfect. There are some perspective issues, but I'll help fix them later.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. Excellent job, Reap. I think we should look at some palettes and possible textures to cover the stage with now.
It looks a bit too long, just make it stretch slightly further down and ill be happy
I don't think it does...

thanks stages are my speciality I've done a bunch of stages for ssf2 so i have loads of experience i have some blueprints of stages we could use ill post them in a bit
on the current line i think we'll have to lift the part of the platform closest to the screen so it dont look leaning other than the lines look good. Also id like to see some blueprints i think we could try compare some and try to get a basic stage style to keep for all the stages, I know were trying to work on one stage at a time but it would still help to make it easier in the future when we get to more stages.
I've seen this guy's stuff for SSF2.

Brilliant work. I still am voting for that tannish bricked texture as the pattern for the walking area.

Oooh, I'm especially intrigued by the alternated Emerald Hill Zone design. I think we should at least put some of these into the game.
