The GC version was the one where Link was left-handed. Also TP was made for the Gamecube, and has GC quality graphics.

EDIT: in the case of skyward sword they should have an option to chose what hand you use

They did however, flip link in the Wii version. Though that was only weeks before it went into production when they decided to add the motion controls.

Before they flipped link in the wii version though, they had already flipped him in the gamcube version to match the left handed wii version (before motion controls)

i know it's ridiculously complicated but that's what they did.

The original was left handed link till they flipped for the wii that then caused problems so they fliped back and made the sword go by buttons. working on items that used the same button caused problems so they fliped it back

it could be wrong, but the magazine definitely says that they flipped the GCN version, to give it a difference from the wii version.
im not trying to get on yours or anyones bad side im just trying to shed some light on the situation
but to be honest thats info from wikipedia which not alot of people trust
i remember articles tho about the complications of the games developement back in 05 stating similar things

That dosnt make my entire argument invalid that just means that part of the argument is not set in stone. I do have prior knowledge of the series including topic at hand such as Aonuma feeling it weird to control links left hand with your right becuase i did see a televised interview were that came up in.

I dont know i guess i was the first to point it out. it may be with items you can start the action with either hand and then depending on that it changes the animation...

why would they make the game with right handed link, and flip it specifically for the gamecube version?

They didn't. There would be no reason to do so, because that would be too much work for absolutely no reason.

They mirrored the entire game. The only thing that's original to the Wii version is Link's model, which had to be specifically redone for obvious reasons.

The gc version is the original game. It was then ported to the wii, where it was then flipped because there are more right-handed people in the world than left-handed people and they wanted to cater the motion controls to their biggest audience. That's why the wii version is somewhat more polished and has the sky cannon glitch fixed in later versions, because it was in a way "version 2.0" of twilight princess.

In other words, what Kylegor just posted was correct.

Whoever it was that wrote the article in the magazine you were reading was retarded.

it makes some sense if you consider the fact an older link probably fucked a different woman.

Of course, this wouldn't apply to Twilight Princess nor Wind Waker, because of development reasons and a totally different hero respectively. So really Skyward sword happens to be the odd link out.
