Apparently, Link was a chronic masturbator. One day he went around town and then felt the urge to pull out his Master Sword and start polish it, so he did behind the bushes. But somehow some girl saw it, and when she called Link, Link smashed the girl's face with his dick and then sploodged lots of Lon Lon milk all over her body with the force of a thousand arrows, which naturally eroded her body. The people were so furious about it they decided to kick him in the nads, which caused his brains to reverse, and that's how he became gay.

i dont get it...

i have a theory for why link is right handed in skyward sword:

the developers wanted him to be
The only reason why Link is right handed in Wii games is because the majority of the people that use Wii are right handed, but what troubles me is that Nintendo knows that not everybody is right handed, so they should have like a setting to change that from right handed to left handed.
they know that not everybody is right handed but in order to to create the option to play left handed they would literaly have to make 2 of everything. which would make two version the right handed and the left handed version.

all they did in tp was mirror the game
the only thing they had to make two of was link's model

iirc everything else is simply run through a mirroring filter and the controls are reversed.
yep thats true Viper. In the case of skyward sword they just dont want to flip the world again in order to on switch what hand he uses that would require the game to be built with two of everything.
can we all shut the fuck up about flipping and links dominant hand now?
i really dont care which hand link jerks off with
I'm presonally confused as to why the hell anyone would feel such a need to delve this deeply into the dominant hand of a fictional character.

Anyway, any theories on possible new items, anyone?

They did flip link.
Gamecube was the mirrored version.
Hence all the bugs.

yeah, no
gc was definitely the source version and wii was flipped

No, yeah. gc was second fiddle.

Oh yeah ? Compare Wii's & GC's world map with OoT's world map. GC Fits on it perfectly while Wii is mirrored.
warned.

now on a more superfluous topic,

inb4 another -subtle- remake of oot/link to the past

besides the actual remake of oot for the 3ds

He looks UGLY

i don't see why his face is an issue

Fan service, I guess.
But hey, that's me. I have no taste anyhow.

Anyway, I read somewhere that some Nintendo official said that the graphics were basically hybrids of TP and WW. (I know people have said that over and over, but read on)
However, Shigeru wanted a game that incorporated some freedom in the art apartment. Something that WW has, but there's a flaw there. If they made another WW style game, people would speculate that it was in the WW timeline.. (OoT's endings create two seperate timelines- the one where Ganon is sealed away in the Sacred Realm... which leads to WW's story arc, and the one where Link goes back into the past to warn Zelda what will happen, which leads to MM and TP's story arcs.)
So, from my speculation at any rate, I guess they decided to merge the art styles because they wanted to have over-the-top graphics without it being too cartoony.
It's also said that Shigeru merged them because of his love for impressionalist art, which is the art we see in the teaser poster, and the style we see in this: http://www.zeldawiki.org/images/3/34/Link_SS.png
If you zoom in, you can see that the blending method was heavily inspired by impressionalism art styles, especially Paul Cezanne's works.

And for another matter...
If this is early development, why does Link have the Master Sword? I don't know much about game development, but it would make sense to me to start from the beginning..
So.. If it's the beginning, why does he have the Master Sword??

It's only for promotional purposes.

I believe they have done the same thing with past zelda games.
Yeah and basically, most Zelda games had a master sword, but I really hoped better for Nintendo to not used it in this new game.
I'm pretty sure it's not the Master Sword, it's probably the Skyward Sword, designed to look similar to the Master Sword.

Similar to how the Gilded Sword had a slightly similar shape to the Master Sword.

Or something. I don't know.
