Do you mean shades need for contrast, or something else?

I tried a new style, with a new pallet to match it. It's my attempt and Kirby Advance, but it still need some more shading and revision.. I included (in order):
-KDL3 Rick
-Kfan Rick 2 (Darker shades)
-Kfan Rick (Lighter shades)
-KA Rick (incomplete)

He looks pretty flat, because you applied shading as if it were a gradient (shaded in curved bands in this case). Try and think of form and contrast.

well, I don't feel like posting my progress on rick just yet, but here's a character of my own creation. Original, he was a JUS edit, now........he and edit and a JUS edit that isn't in JUS style, and looks much better......:

No, just different angles.


Here's my new project. I'm gonna sprite all helpers along with Kirby and Gooey in my little style here. Rick isn't facing right angle, and is slightly out of style, and Kine just doesn't look to good, and isn't quite complete. Pitch is great, and Coo is epic. (to me)
