This one is for Tonberry2k! I didn't expect to actually get that one because the dumper failed so many times and I had to do weird things but Iw as just playing around a bit and suddenly
Mario.
As if he just jumped out of a pipe in front of me when I didn't expect it at all!
I didn't even intend to do more but now I can't stop :O

This one was somewhat more complicated so if there's anything wrong just throw it at me!


PS: Also got Koopa, but I guess I'll hold on with that one until I've got the other team textures to go with it - currently I only have the team Mario ones (the support players have football shirts matching the leader character). Not sure if I'll do many more characters but I think at least the textures should be easy to obtain (except for unlockable character ones if there are any).

Do these models appear so blocky onscreen? Because they could also be LOD models.
Also, the *bump* textures are actually specular maps. The Wii/Gamecube rarely/never uses bump maps

Yes - they're audience characters around the play field and never to be seen up close anyways. Most of the audience is actually pre-rendered papercuts (which are just as low-poly and odd), though!
Looks like you're right about the bump->speclevel maps, I just zoomed up close to Kritter (goalie) for comparision (as his are the most apparent). I didn't even know that such things exist before I started doing these rips and played around with settings and options so I was assuming them to be bump maps. I'll fix those two (ball and Mario) and re-upload them later when I have other folks to add (there are more audience people at another stadium and all those player characters). I've done several dumps today (they all take 10-15 minutes on my old machine, most likely due to tons of duplicates and invisible stuff like collision objects and eeeh).

Updated Ball and Mario.

Also, some updates to some of the audience models, because there were some more alternate textures hiding in another stadium (the other stadiums with audience used papercuts only so I thought I had all, but I didn't)!
Toad (blue, pink), Shy Guy (blue, pink), plus Birdo with new icons (again) because I found her pink texture:
[...] (pink, orange, yellow).

Also, some all new model rips:

Pianta comes with an alterate pink texture.

Team Captains:

Yes, these are all of them (with Mario).

Kritter, the Goalie:

He comes with an alternate texture for each team (though Bowser and Bowser Jr. share the same).

What's next? Sidekicks. The player characters that aren't team captains.
Birdo, Boo, Dry Bones, Hammer Bro, Koopa, Monty Mole, Shy Guy, Toad.
I've still got to get each team texture for all of them first.

PS:
I just noticed that the team captains have alternate colours, too - two colours per character so depending on the opponent, an alternative can be used to avoid having too similar colours for both teams...

I'm really really terribly sorry that I'm causing you so much trouble and have updates for those files again and I really should've checked my stuff more thoroughly and not have been in sich a rush wanting to get it done with and there's a lot of things that could've been avoided if I had payed more attention and been more carefull.

This time, they have all their textures with all alternate variations. Not every team captain has a second colour, but most of them have been updated with additional eye textures and super ability textures. The audience characters have all their colour versions now.
How I can be so sure I've got all of them this time? First, I was dumping the textures from the emulated game, trying to get everything, but that's a lot of work and it's easy to miss things, like audience colours. However I've managed to understand the texture format and could write a conversion program that'd take those .rlt files and give me .png images.

This also means I've got all sidekick textures now, including the unused peach alternates and a beta texture for koopa. Gonna deliver them soon-ish. Please apologize for the updating trouble Ouch!
