Something different
#1
I felt the best way to continue learning is to try something I've never done before. So I'm just trying out making sprites with more shading and trying to get a better sense of depth.

You might want to give her torse a few pixels on the right (our left), it's really flat and lacking a back.
Hue shifting wouldn't be too bad, either (especially for yellow).
Paulas arms are of different length.
The skin tones have barely any contrast.

There's a few jaggies on the eyes and clothing
Try increasing the contrast, make the colors a little less blinding

I don't know if it's because I'm on my phone or not, but those both look extremely pillow shaded

I think it's because the light source is a little wonky. It's hard for me to pinpoint where it's coming from.

So much banding it ends looking like pillowshading.

Oh, I didn't know I was banding.. Well that's what the point of this was anyway Smile

I'm going to play with the palette a little and see what I can do.
