Except Vaati isn't Link. Most characters move differently. And if I made his cap like that (short & static), it would seem weird. I'll try it though to see how it looks.

Well I don't mean copy Link exactly. The point I'm making is see how everything is exaggerated motion? If you intend to keep Zelda 3 style, you should have Vaati move in an exaggerated motion.

That is if you even want to meet Zelda 3 style. There's nothing wrong going totally custom without meeting any style.
