Done just that. 
I'm planning to rip stuff from Knuckles Chaotix in the future. There's a lot of stuff needed to be ripped. Including re-rips of the bosses.
Though I might need help with the ChaoView program so I know what codes the level, boss and the rest of the palettes use.
Doc Melonhead had a ripping project started, but that was in the old forums before the update. And he hasn't been here since last year.
Not sure if he's still active at Sonic Retro, but I don't have an account there.
Also should point out, Knuckles Chaotix's levels can be viewed with the latest SonEd, So anyone who knows how to use it can give it a try.
