>Leafeon's ears are not always straight up like that. They look like they are coming up from the side and curving witht he muzzle, but that's just because of the position of the head. I was trying to give it a more organic, lifelike pose. The ears actually aren't free moving and can bend, as shown here and here.

i fail to see how any of that actually acknowledges anything in his comment other than the word "ears"
What you quoted from me wasn't directed at "his ears aren't shapes like that". It was directed at "his mizzle goes straight into his ears" and "They curve with the muzzle as well". He didn't specify how the shape was wrong, or how to make them better, so I had nothing to comment on or fix. Were they too big? Too small? Too straight? Too round? Too curved? Too bent?

Anyway, an update. Tried making the ears static and straight-up. I personally like the older angled and dynamic pose of them, but what looks good and what doesn't isn't entirely up to me.

oh ok
i guess i just read it wrong then

but uh
the old angle of the ears was okay, but you didn't actually accomplish what i think you did
they looked like you were TRYING to get them to fade into the background, but they really just looked like they were parallel with whatever screen you'd be looking at them through

learn2foreshortening
look at the above eeveelutions, they got it right
