Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people? I also love how they apparently don't consider 3 or Knuckles a true successor to 1 and 2. Seriously? Just play the crap out of the first two games your whole life then. Problem solved.

But attempting to go back the the series' roots apparently isn't even enough if people are gonna protest by buying Sonic 1 instead. I can't argue coherently

Yeahhhhhhhhh gonna buy this game day one. Out of Protest to this dumb protest. Plus side? another decent Sonic 2D sonic game downside? No downside, the games gonna be good fucking idiots.
