I'm advice about your sprites? I didn't know that...

Anyway, the shading needs to be improved, for one.
The yellow one looks like a bad Gallade edit.

Bad lineart, color choices, and attention to detail. I can barely tell what either one is.

1st, save it in Png, not jpg. That Black and yellow guy looks like a mixs of pokemon, so all I can say there is that maybe try making it your self other then using pokemon sprites and just recolouring them, not saying its a bad thing but I know some sites don't like that and so on.

That Blue dude just sucks, sorry to say that, that one hand, claw thing needs alot of work on it, the hair is messed up, Don't just use black lining, try planing where the light and shadows are going to be, try learning somthing about the body and were the arms, and legs should go.
And try fixing alot of lining on this, maybe try looking up some Tutorials, I know they help.
And im a bit of a newb myself, so I hope I did help a bit, and i'm trying to be nice here. Cute

The blue thing looks like a mixture of PSX-era Megaman X's jumping sprite mixed with that one bear-looking boss that digs through the ground with huge claws.

A good way to make good customs is making a paper drawing of whatever character design you are aiming to do. It doesn't matter if your drawing skills are good or bad, but as long you have a real visual representation of what are you attempting to do, things will work fine.
