Cremelian Wars X [turn based strategy game]

Actually, I should probably wait for Metaru to make units before I make ground tiles so I can see the style he's making them in.

Ah, good call. Maybe after the first piece of artwork is out, you'll have a better idea of how to design the world terrain.

@Metaru
The units that need the most work as of now are the vehicles and air units, so it would probably be best to hold off on working on the infantry since they are the most complete set up to this point. The units need to be 40 pixels high and 40 pixels in length. The units sprites can extend past 40 pixels in width and height, but by doing so they will begin to overlap on their adject tiles. If you look at the first page of posts, you can see a flamethrower unit frying another unit, with this overlap taking place, so it's not always a drawback to have.

All units have a few animations, which include:
Standing idle, dying, moving right, moving up, moving down, attacking up, attacking right, and attacking down
The idle animation is the most important, since this how the player will see the unit the majority of the time, and the dying one is the least important, since another can already be reused.

The units I would like you to work on would be (With concept art):
- A combat Jeep, a standard jeep with a mounted machine gun http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:xM7J7...252001.jpg
- A light tank, a single-barrel tank without a lot of armor http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:Y91md...lenger.jpg
- A STS (Surface to Surface) Missile Tank, http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ycUoB...ockI-1.jpg
- A Stealth Bomber http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:KNzHQ...bomber.jpg
- A missile http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:DaoQw...issile.jpg

They are listed in order of least to greatest importance.

I know this seems like a lot, so I just wanted to give you the full picture before you dedicated yourself to anything, since I wanted to be completely transparent about what work you would be asked to do. Obviously, it would be silly to expect this to be done in a week, or even a month, so there's no pressure. I just want to make sure you're up for the challenge Wink
