A bunch of the ones I put up were ones that were from a while ago, ones that Dazz or Tonberry had accepted. I can gather a list if you want me to.

The problem I always see with people saying "We need quality control" is that they never submit custom sprites, when they know full well that they are decent custom spriters.

We need a decent sized section - We can't just only pick the best of the best.
We pick usable sheets that are not just crap recolours - that powerless sonic sheet was good - it looked EXACTLY like the character from the comics, it doesn't make a lick of difference because it's not "totally custom" - it's useful. It's also true to its original design.

Which is fine, but there are some custom sheets that are too outdated to be useful, like some of the earlier Melee sheets and a LOT of the Pokémon sheets. I highly doubt the valitity of pokemon pixelarts, especially when some are more or less exactly the same.

Exactly - but fact is that it wasn't pointed out to us - we have to monitor 22,000+ sheets, so we can't always remember or see when something like that crops up...

And that's completely fine, but some sprites are more useful than others. You don't need that many custom Voltorb sheets, for example. Considering mone of them are in an existing style, you could remove all but two, and get the same useage.
