Hello,
I am currently trying to take on the torch of ripping Okage's models, after the trail went cold years prior. Following this thread's final post, I was able to extract the game's "XPF" files, but it only ripped into several other unfamiliar files like "XIA", "XMT", "XMD", and "XTA". This appears to be the road block that many before me have reached, including a post as recently as February of this year. I also attempted extracting from the Japanese release (ボクと魔王), but the files were identical between both versions, yielding no progress.
When I attempted to rip models via a PCSX2 3D Screenshot, the resulting .obj file was entirely flat, although elements of the intended scene were present in the flat model.
Attached below are pictures of a list of XPF files, an example list of files from a ripped XPF file, the scene of my attempted 3D Screenshot, and the actual obj file when imported into Blender. There may easily be a method I didn't come across yet, but everything I found thus far hasn't worked.
I don't know where to go from here, so what I wanted to ask was: might anyone know anything about these files, and how they may be decompressed into familiar model files? If it'd help, I could provide my save from just before the game's ending. This is my first attempt at ripping 3D models, so please forgive any naivete evident in my post.
Thanks in advance!
